BETTIAH, Sept. 12 -- A 32-year-old married man and his 30-year-old married girlfriend, who had left their home on Thursday, were hanging from a tree in a village in Bihar's East Champaran district on Friday, police said, adding that "hate killing" or suicide angles were being probed. Sharing the information, Harshidih's station house officer (SHO), Sunil Kumar, said that the bodies were found hanging from a mango tree in an orchard at Sonbarsa Giri Tola Sareh under his police station area on Friday morning. "The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The FSL team has been involved in the investigation. The matter is being probed from all angles, including murder (hate killing) and suicide," the SHO said. "During the investigation, police found that the two belonged to the different communities and living in the neighbourhood of one another," he added. Police said that the family members of both of them found them missing and launched a frantic search.
