ARA, July 31 -- A young man died after being hit by a train around 300 metres before Garahni railway station on the Ara-Sasaram railway section on Thursday, police said. The man has been identified as 30-year-old Guddu Thakur, son of Sunil Thakur and resident of Shantinagar Dhamaniya under Garahni police station area. Family members said that the victim left home for work. "He was going towards the railway station to catch the 63318 Bhabhua Road-Ara MEMU passenger train early in the morning when he was hit by a train and died," a relative said.
