PATNA, July 18 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna on Friday after he complained of uneasiness during a hospital visit for an eye examination, officials said. According to Dr Bibhuti Prasann Sinha at the IGIMS, Prasad reported chest discomfort while undergoing eye evaluation. He was admitted for observation as a precaution due to his medical history.
