RANCHI, April 14 -- The Jharkhand government informed Jharkhand High Court on Monday that it would recommend the name of the new Lokayukta to the Governor for approval within a week, people in the know said. The bench of Chief Justice Mahesh Saraadchandra Sonak is hearing a group of petitions related to the state's defunct Information Commission and the vacant post of Lokayukta.
