PATNA, July 8 -- Gopalganj police sent a proposal to Economic Offences Unit for confiscating properties worth Rs.14 crore earned through criminal means by gangster Amresh Shahi facing many cases, including five registered with Kuchaikot police station. Gopalganj SP Vinay Tiwari said, "In course of investigation, police gathered documents from the office of district registrar, transport officer, different banks and officials concerned. Investigation revealed that Shahi had earned agricultural fields, residential plots, costly plots, truck, bus, JCB machine, SUVs and luxury cars worth Rs.14 crore.
