RANCHI, Sept. 27 -- Three assailants allegedly opened indiscriminate fire at a restaurant inside a shopping mall under Sonari police station in Jamsedhpur around 1 PM on Saturday, leaving four persons injured, officials said. The incident caused panic in one of the city's busiest locations, prompting senior police officers to rush to the spot to assess the situation. The injured were identified as Dilshad, Dominic, Rizwan and Krishna Chaudhary. All four were rushed to TMH, where they are undergoing treatment. DIG Kolhan region, Auranjan Kispotta said an SIT had been constituted to investigate, raid and apprehend the accused. "Preliminary investigations indicate the incident stemmed from a personal dispute, during which the shooting took place. Three assailants arrived at the scene. Four persons were injured in the incident. Clues and other evidence from the crime scene are being gathered. One of the three assailants has been identified.
