PATNA, Sept. 3 -- Nearly a month after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) granted clean chit to NEET-UG 2024 examination paper leak accused Sanjeev Singh alias Lutan Mukhiya, the economic offence unit (EOU) of Bihar police took him on remand in a different case of 2017 related to NEET question paper leak and tampering, police officials said on Wednesday. Mukhiya, a suspended technical assistant at Noorsarai Horticulture College (Nalanda), is accused of orchestrating the leaks of several important examinations, including the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) teacher recruitment exam and constable recruitment exam. He is at present lodged in Beur central jail in Patna in connection with the 2017 NEET-UG examination paper tampering case. Sources said that Mukhiya was taken on remand by the EOU slueths from Beur jail for interrogation around afternoon. The EOU DIG Manavjeet Singh Dhillon said that Sanjiv alias Lutan Mukhiya's interrogation would lead to vital information with regard to competitive exams....
