PATNA, July 18 -- Now the digital record of all types of criminals, including petty and organised, are being prepared, said officials at police headquarters on Friday. This information is shared with police stations across the country through CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System). Apart from this, the necessary information is also given to the international police organisation Interpol. In such a situation, it is difficult to escape once the name comes in the police record. The system of giving character certificates has also become online. ADG (law and Order) K S Anupam appealed to the youth to stay away from crime. She said that sometimes the youth do not know the law and they get stuck in trouble. In view of this, the police headquarters is going to start an operation, in which high school and college students will be informed about the law. Especially, teenagers and young people will be made aware of the issues related to Pocso Act, Dowry law, domestic violence, use of internet media, etc. The campaign will run from July 21 to August 10. She further stated that surveillance has also been increased from the police headquarters level on platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram and YouTube. Those who disturb social harmony by making religious or radical comments and make indecent comments against a particular person are being monitored 24 hours a day....
