PATNA, Aug. 14 -- A 49-year-old contractor was shot dead by four bike-borne assailants while returning home after a morning walk in Vaishali's Sadar police station area on Thursday, police said. The deceased was identified as Ram Naresh Rai, a resident of Digghi West in Hajipur Town.
