RANCHI, July 7 -- In a major political move to address the escalating crisis in Jharkhand's coal belt, senior national leader and Jharkhand Congress in-charge K Raju and state finance minister Radha Krishna Kishore launched a public dialogue campaign across the mining-affected Ramgarh and Hazaribagh districts on Monday. Additionally, the initiative addresses critical local issues concerning pollution and employment opportunities for residents. Speaking to the Hindustan Times after a day-long tour of the affected villages including stops at the Gondalpura protest site, Dadikala, Keredari, and areas near the Chandragupta CCL Coal Mines Project, Congress in-charge K Raju shared his first-hand observations. Raju strongly condemned the legal maneuvers used to deny locals their due rights, particularly how corporations like NTPC, BGR, and Adani are operating in the region. "Interacting with over 6,000 people, I got first-hand information of complete failure in providing proper compensation," Raju told Hindustan Times....
