PATNA, Oct. 10 -- A day after LJP (RV) leader Chirag Paswan hinted at dissatisfaction over NDA's seat sharing deal the party was getting, hectic rounds of talks were held on Thursday in Delhi, following which the issue was resolved. According to top NDA sources, all the alliance's constituent parties have reached an agreement on seat allocation, though the seats to be contested by each partner are yet to be disclosed. Based on Thursday's talk, the alliance's first joint list of candidates is expected on October 13. A smiling Union minister of the state for home affairs and BJP leader, Nityanand Rai, assigned to hold talks with Paswan, said after the meeting, "Everything is positive. Don't you see our smile?" Paswan, also seconded Rai. Rai later conveyed this to Bihar BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan. The BJP has already completed the candidate selection process at the state level. A panel of three potential candidates has been prepared for each seat the party is likely to contest. The BJP's Bihar Core Group will meet in Delhi on October 11 to finalise these names. After this, a Central Election Committee meeting is scheduled for October 12, to be attended by PM Modi, home minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda and senior leaders. Only after these meetings will the names be finalised, and NDA's list released, marking formal start of campaign. Earlier in the day, amid the ongoing discussions over the seat sharing formula within the NDA, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) state president Raju Tiwari on Thursday said the party had unanimously authorised its national president Chirag Paswan to take the final call. "A meeting was held under our election in-charge Arun Bharti ji. Presidents and vice-presidents of all the cells in Bihar, our national office bearers and our important colleagues, participated. We have unanimously entrusted everything to the national president regarding the ongoing discussion on future seats," Tiwari said in Patna. Chirag, who demanded no less than 30 seats, is now said to be ready to settle between 20-23 seats....
