Bihar CM launches slew of projects
PATNA, May 12 -- In a bid to cut bureaucratic delays and bring governance closer to the people, chief minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday inaugurated a new helpline and an online portal aimed at resolving citizens' problems within a strict 30-day deadline, with automatic suspension for officials, who miss it.
Choudhary also inaugurated the newly constructed Navin Kishore Sinha Path, a 4-lane corridor built atop the long-troubled Mandiri drain near Gandhi Maidan. The Rs.115 crore road has been named after Navin Kishore Prasad Sinha, a four-time BJP MLA and father of BJP president Nitin Nabin.
Meanwhile, the Bihar government on Monday also notified the BIADA land allotment & management policy 2026, replacing the 4-yr-old 2022 version with a more streamlined, transparent system designed to cut red tape and speed up project setup.
The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), the nodal agency under the state's department of industries, will now handle all plots and shed allotments exclusively through an online portal where available land is listed publicly.
