PATNA, Sept. 27 -- The Banka district administration on Saturday demolished illegal constructions and encroachments in Chihaar village belonging to three absconding suspects, Mohammad Abdullah, Nitish Kumar and Vikas Rai, linked to the molestation of a minor at Mandar Hill, police said on Saturday. The action follows after a video purportedly showing a young woman being harassed by a group of men at the popular tourist destination of Mandar Hill surfaced online. Banka police are conducting raids to arrest the three suspects and are currently interrogating several individuals detained in connection with the case. "Under the leadership of Block Development Officer Baunsi, encroachments made by illegal hutment construction of Abdullah, Vikas and Nitish on the government land were removed with the help of bulldozers and administrative force," said Banka SP Amitesh Kumar, adding that investigation was on into the case and the accused would be behind the bar. An FSL team inspected the spot collected evidence. Earlier on Friday, police and administration have bulldozed the house of the three arrested accused in the molestation case of a minor in Samastipur. Police said encroachments were removed by bulldozing the huts of accused Rahul Paswan, Rambabu Sahani and Awadhesh Paswan. "All the three arrested accused were built huts and tea stall on a government land. Apart from this, the license of Awadhesh Paswan's PDS shop has been cancelled by the administration," said Sadar SDO Rakesh Kumar adding that they received an information that the kuchcha and pucca houses of Vikas Sharma, Rahul Paswan, Awadhesh Paswan and Rambabu Sahani were built on government land. The SDO further said the administration issued notice to the family members of Vikash Sharma's to demolish his permanent construction of Jagatsingpur within 72-hours and vacate the place....
