Dehradun, Oct. 10 -- Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that the Uttarakhand government is working with a strong resolve to establish the state as the country's most investment-friendly destination, backed by policy reforms, transparent governance, and infrastructure development. The comments were made while addressing the 120th annual session of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in New Delhi. Welcoming industrialists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across the country, he lauded the Chamber's 120-year contribution to economic progress, industrial growth, and nurturing entrepreneurship. Reiterating his government's commitment, the chief minister said: "We are continuously working to make Uttarakhand the country's leading investment-friendly state. This is our strong resolve, and every step we are taking, from policy reforms to infrastructure creation ,is aligned with this goal." Dhami credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Reform, Perform and Transform" for creating a favourable investment climate in India. He said the country has seen "profound changes" not only in infrastructure but also in education, health, women's empowerment, and social justice. "Today, India is the world's fourth-largest economy and is steadily moving towards becoming the third-largest.
