BETTIAH, Jan. 30 -- The West Champaran district education officer has suspended four teachers of Uchchtar Madhyamik Vidyalaya after they were found absent from the school despite having marked their attendance, barely a stone's throw distance from the DEO's office, officials confirmed. The action followed by a raid conducted in the school that led to several other irregularities and deviations from laid down rules.
