RANCHI, Aug. 10 -- In an administrative development, three members of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) tendered their resignation and the government accepted them. A press statement from Lok Bhawan informed that the members who stepped down included Ajita Bhattacharya, Anima Hansda, and Jamal Ahmed, following formal recommendations submitted by the state government. "Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has accepted the resignations submitted by Dr Ajita Bhattacharya, Dr Anima Hansda, and Dr Jamal Ahmed from their posts as members of the JPSC, in light of the recommendation made by the State Government," it said. The exit of three high-ranking officials has sent shockwaves through the bureaucratic circles.
