India, Oct. 4 -- A laya F may have been away from the big screen since Srikanth (2024), but the actor insists there has been no slowing down behind the scenes. "Contrary to what may seem, I have been the busiest in my life in the last two years," says the 28-year-old during a shoot with HT City Showstoppers, adding that she is "really proud" of the decisions she has taken since 2024. That sense of discipline extends beyond work. Known for her commitment to fitness, Alaya has completed the gruelling 75 Hard Challenge three times and has now embarked on an even longer, 118-day version. "When I did it for the first time, it just fully changed my life. After that, I've gotten addicted to it. I am just curious to know what more it can do for me," she says. This time, the challenge will run through the festive and wedding season, New Year and even her birthday (November 28). Temptation, she says, is the biggest test. "It is very important to set these habits at a time where there is the most temptation... It really builds a lot of mental fortitude." More than the physical results, she values what the routine does for her headspace. "I get an immense amount of mental clarity," she says, adding that it helps her make better decisions and "trust my gut more". Meanwhile, she says, Srikanth winning the National Film Award for Best Hindi Film has made the wait sweeter. "It's an honour of such a high level, and I'm grateful to have this in my filmography."...
