India, Aug. 30 -- For Isha Koppikar, bringing Bappa home is a tradition she cannot do without. "When I used to live with my parents, we used to bringing home an eco-friendly Bappa for over 15 years," the actor-politician tells us. Her devotion to Lord Ganesh runs so deep that she even introduced the ritual at her in-law's place. "I started bringing Bappa there, a tradition that I began in 2022. It was like an inner calling," she shares. This year is going to be a family affair. "My mother is coming home and bringing several Konkani delicacies with her. We'll be making sheera, coconut laddoos and ukadiche modaks," says the actor. Isha, who calls Ganeshotsav her favourite festival, notes that Ganpati has helped her overcome several obstacles in life. "There's a lot of hard work that goes into taking care of Bappa and one has to give their best all days of Ganeshotsav, but Bappa is very kind," the 48-year-old says, adding, "My daughter (Rianna, 11) is an extension of me and is so excited. She is in love with Bappa, dances and cries at the visarjan along with me."...
