MUMBAI, Sept. 19 -- A 17-year-old allegedly speeding on a scooter crashed on a Vikhroli service road early Thursday, killing his friend who was riding pillion. The two were on their way to Lalbaugcha Raja when the scooter skidded near the Godrej Soap Gate bus stop, police said. The deceased, Jaynam Doshi, a Ghatkopar resident, suffered severe injuries in the crash. The minor, who is from Kanjurmarg, stopped a cab after the accident and took Doshi to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, where he was declared dead on arrival.vinay dalvi...
