MUMBAI, Oct. 12 -- A 28-year-old first-year postgraduate resident doctor pursuing an MD in General Surgery at Sion Hospital was found dead in his hostel bathroom on Saturday evening in a suspected suicide. The doctor, who had allegedly complained of a heavy workload and prolonged fatigue, was found unconscious after security guards broke open the door. He was declared dead upon arrival. While no suicide note was recovered, authorities found vials of anaesthetic agents near the scene.
