MUMBAI, June 8 -- A 24-year-old man was killed and three others were injured after two men allegedly attacked them with a chopper in Malad East on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Akash Dhotre, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in Kurar Village. The injured are locals Ramesh Dhotre, Amit Mishra, and Atish Singh. The accused, brothers Mahendra Sahani and Virendra Sahani, both painters and residents of Kurar Village, were allegedly creating a disturbance near the Appapada rickshaw stand, intimidating passers-by with a chopper. When Dhotre and a few local residents asked them to stop, the duo allegedly attacked them with the weapon. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Akash Dhotre succumbed to his injuries during treatment, while the others are undergoing medical care. Both accused have been arrested....
