Kolkata, Aug. 30 -- The Kolkata police on Saturday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly violating the Calcutta High Court's order during the foundation day rally of the Trinamool Congress's students' wing. This comes after CM Suvendu Adhikari had directed the police to register an FIR and move the high court against his predecessor.
