JNPA to set up quarry for Vadhavan port on 100 ha forest
Mumbai, Aug. 22 -- Around 100 hectares of forest land in Palghar district may have to make way for a stone quarry for the construction of the Vadhavan port, according to a top official of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), which is jointly constructing the port with the Maharashtra Maritime Board.
