The statement came after a single-judge bench of justice Madhav Jamdar expressed concerns over the "misuse" of social media platforms and asked Meta to start taking action against the offenders. Such rights are protected by the Indian Constitution as freedom of speech and expression, the right to life, which also includes the right to live with dignity", the bench said. The actor has named Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., domain name registrars, several identified and unidentified individuals as defendants in her lawsuit, enabling legal action against unknown people who may have created or shared the alleged content.
