MUMBAI, June 28 -- Beginning in 2027, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will overhaul its recruitment process by shifting preliminary examinations for Group A, B and C services to online mode, conducting them multiple times a year to speed up results. The move, however, has sparked strong opposition from aspirants, who have questioned the availability of reliable exam centres, feared technical glitches and criticised the proposed score normalisation system for multi-shift exams.
