Mumbai, Sept. 27 -- The Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) provides services such as granting factory licences, licence renewal, approval of factory plans, and licence amendments. For citizens' convenience , the office has now included a new service under the Maharashtra Right to Service Act, 2015. This will make the processes more transparent and faster. Moreover, the time limits and required documents for all services, including license renewal and license amendment, have been significantly reduced. As a result, industrial establishments will be able to complete licence-related procedures in less time than before, providing much-needed relief to entrepreneurs. With the inclusion of new services, the industrial sector will gain momentum, and citizen-centric governance will be strengthened through e-governance, according to the DISH.
