Chirag airs concern over crimes in Bihar, says will fight state polls
Patna, July 7 -- Union minister Chirag Paswan on Sunday voiced concern over the law and order situation in the NDA-ruled Bihar after a businessman was murdered in Patna and separately announced that he will contest the upcoming Bihar assembly polls.
"It is a matter of worry the way crime has risen and law and order has collapsed in Bihar. If such an incident has happened in a posh locality of Patna, then we can only imagine what is happening in villages," the president of LJP(RV), which is a part of the NDA said.
Later in the day, he addressed a rally in Saran district and said: "When I express my desire to return to Bihar, to be among my people it troubles many... Time and again, the question is asked if Chirag Paswan will contest the assembly elections.I say in front of all of you: yes, I will contest the elections." P6...
