Ban on sale of loose oil still on: Mundhe
MUMBAI, Aug. 27 -- Two days after chief minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the government had revoked the ban on sale of loose edible oil and asked the FDA to formulate an SOP to prevent adulteration, FDA commissioner Tukaram Mundhe said on Wednesday that the ban will continue to remain in force, adding that FDA was working with the state government to form the rules.
