India, Dec. 23 -- Unidentified gunmen on Monday shot Motaleb Shikder, a leader of Bangladesh's student-led uprising, in the head. The attack took place in southwestern Khulna, days after the killing of prominent youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi. The Kaler Kantho newspaper said that Shikder was shot on the left side of his head.
