MUMBAI, Sept. 9 -- A 30-year-old man was found dead in the sea off the Mumbai Coastal Road near Lotus Jetty in Worli on Tuesday, with police suspecting suicide. The Tardeo police have registered an accidental death report (ADR) and are investigating the matter. The man, a Chembur resident who operated an aggregator cab, had driven to the Coastal Road in the early hours of Tuesday, police said. His vehicle was found parked near Lotus Jetty, and he was identified through its registration number. "We searched for him with the help of fishermen and the fire brigade, but could not locate him in the night. In the afternoon, we found his body at Lotus Jetty," said a police officer. According to police, the man lived with his father, wife and son. The officer said the family had been facing domestic difficulties in recent days, but police are still investigating the circumstances of his death. "He was addicted to liquor and there were disputes between him and his wife. Her family had taken her home after the disputes. On Sunday, too, there was a dispute between him and his wife over his drinking habit," said the officer. The police have not established a definitive reason for the man's death....
