3 witnesses to Malad train murder finally step forward
MUMBAI, Feb. 7 -- Nearly two weeks after the murder of college professor Alok Singh in a packed local train, the Government Railway Police (GRP) have managed to find three witnesses to the incident. So far, police had only one witness - Sudhirkumar Trivedi, 41, a colleague of Singh, who was travelling with him.
GRP officers figured that since the incident took place during rush hour, most of the commuters were regulars, who board the same train every day.
