'Without this school, don't know how our child will learn'
India, March 26 -- Alia Gasdar, a parent of a Class 2 student, said her child was born with a physical disability and earlier could only recognise a few family members. After joining the special school, there has been a major improvement: her child has started understanding numbers and basic colours, and can now communicate with others in his own way.
Gasdar said the school has helped her child become more independent and confident. She fears that if the school is shut, her child may not be able to continue education at all. "This school has changed our lives. Without it, we don't know how our child will learn or survive," she said....
