RAJGIR, Aug. 31 -- Pakistan will travel to India for the junior hockey World Cup that will be held in Chennai and Madurai from November 28 to December 10, Hockey India secretary general Bhola Nath Singh said on Friday. "The Pakistan hockey team is coming for the Jr World Cup. They confirmed it to me last night," said Singh. Pakistan did not travel to Rajgir for the Asia Cup. Though they did not give an official statement, people in the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) had said it was due to "security concerns". Last week, the Government of India came out with a new policy, severing all bilateral sporting ties with Pakistan. But it added that India will continue to compete against Pakistan in multilateral international events.
