PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 10 -- A woman from Delhupur police station area in Pratapgarh has accused her husband of assaulting her, recording objectionable videos and later circulating them on social media after the couple separated following a marital dispute. According to police, the victim, a resident of Naubasta village in Delhupur, was married to a man from the Fatanpur area. In her complaint, she alleged that her husband would physically assault her and record videos during the incidents against her wishes. After the separation, the woman began living with her mother. She alleged that during this period, her husband repeatedly telephoned her, abused her and threatened her. She further claimed that videos recorded earlier were circulated online in an attempt to harass and defame her. Based on her complaint, police have registered a case against the husband and five other members of his family....
