Kolkata, July 8 -- West Bengal transport minister Arjun Singh said on Tuesday that the state government has decided to roll out saffron-coloured buses. "The colour red stands for danger. Blue and white represents corruption. Saffron symbolises sacrifice. We are a Nationalist party. Hence, we have chosen the colour saffron for the new state buses which would be deployed," Singh said. Currently, the buses have been painted blue and white. A senior transport department official, however, said that no official order has been issued so far.htc...
