PRAYAGRAJ, April 12 -- Urban assembly constituencies of Prayagraj lead in both deletion and addition of voters considering the draft publication under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and its final publication. In the final list published on Friday, the highest number of deletions-1,45,810 voters-was recorded in the Allahabad North assembly constituency. However, 34,153 voters were also added here after the January 6 draft rolls. Looking at the addition of new voters between the draft rolls and the final list, Allahabad South assembly constituency leads with 41,537 new voters. Here, 99,059 voters' names had been deleted earlier. In Allahabad West assembly constituency, where 99,509 voters' names were deleted, 40,250 new voters have been added in the final list. In Karachhana, 87,794 voters' names were deleted and 20,313 were added. In Phulpur, 72,767 names were deleted and 27,906 were added. In Phaphamau, 49,585 names were deleted and now 35,118 have been added even as in Soraon, 45,951 names were deleted and 30,868 were added. Likewise, in Pratappur, 54,086 names were deleted and 25,668 were added and in Handia, 64,980 names were removed and 23,259 were added while in Meja, 47,757 were removed and 19,114 were added even as in Bara, 42,755 names were removed and 15,698 were added.
