Lucknow, June 3 -- The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on Tuesday declared the results of the written examination for 624 lecturer posts. Commission chairman Prashant Kumar said 1,92,934 candidates appeared for the examination held on May 9 and 10 across 18 subjects. Based on the results, 2,253 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview stage. The recruitment covers subjects including Physics, Biology, Home Science, History, Education, English, Agriculture, Commerce, Sociology, Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Art and Hindi.
