GORAKHPUR, Aug. 10 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak has announced plans to establish cancer hospitals across all 18 administrative divisions of the state, while cancer day-care centres will be set up in six to seven districts to make specialised treatment more accessible to patients. Pathak made the announcement during his visit to Basti on Saturday evening, where he inspected healthcare facilities and interacted with patients and officials.
