Lucknow, May 14 -- The state government has taken a significant step towards making technical education in Uttar Pradesh competitive and of high quality at the national level. A comprehensive reform campaign is currently underway to align the state's engineering colleges and technical universities with NAAC standards, spokesperson said. The government's objective is to develop these technical institutions into hubs of academic excellence, research, innovation, and employment-oriented education. The "State Quality Framework (SQF)," implemented by the Department of Technical Education, is being hailed as a pivotal initiative in this direction. Through this framework, quality standards based on NAAC, NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) are being systematically implemented across the state's engineering colleges and universities. This initiative is expected to lead to improvements in the rankings, academic quality, and national-level competitiveness of these technical institutions.
