LUCKNOW, Sept. 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nurses Sangh (UP RNS), an association of government nurses, on Sunday announced an agitation over demands, including posting in their home districts and benefits at par with nurses in medical institutions. UP RNS general secretary Ashok Kumar and president Sharli Bhandari said nurses would wear black ribbons while on duty from October 9. From October 21, they would observe a two-hour work boycott at government hospitals across the state.
