Mussoorie, July 23 -- The number of pilgrims for the Char Dham Yatra to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham has crossed 4 million mark, according to the data by the state government. "The total number of pilgrims to have completed the yatra by July 21 stands at 4,033,151. Kedarnath remains the most visited shrine, drawing 1,407,344 pilgrims so far, including 92,124 in July alone. Badrinath followed with 1,178,042 pilgrims, of which 86,914 arrived this month. Gangotri has witnessed a total of 654,922 devotees, including 82,407 in July. Yamunotri, although briefly impacted due to damaged roadways between July 1 and 5, has registered 575,473 pilgrims this season, with 21,213 visiting in July," the government data, released on Monday evening, stated.
