BAHRAICH, Oct. 7 -- Bahraich Police arrested two alleged drug traffickers, including a history-sheeter, and seized 304 grams of smack, estimated to be worth Rs.1.5 crore in the international market, during a raid at a tile shop in Rupaidiha, officials said on Tuesday. The accused were identified as Riyaz Ali, 31, of Rupaidiha, and Poonam Verma, 33, of Barabanki. Police said Riyaz used his tile shop as a front for the illegal smack trade. Police recovered 294 grams of smack from the counter and 10 grams from Poonam Verma. A case under the NDPS Act was registered at Rupaidiha police station, and the accused were produced before a court after completing legal formalities.htc...
