GORAKHPUR, Oct. 29 -- An 18-year-old woman and her 22-year-old partner were found dead on the railway tracks near Pipraich railway station on Tuesday morning, police said. According to reports, the two allegedly jumped in front of the moving Humsafar Express train on Monday night. Investigation suggested that the woman was distressed over her family's decision to get her married against her wishes. Locals discovered the bodies early Tuesday morning. SHO of Pipraich Police Station, Atul Srivastava, said, "Initial findings indicate that the two may have died by suicide due to emotional distress or a personal dispute. However, the exact motive is still under investigation."
