Two-day NBRI flower show on Jan 24, 25
LUCKNOW, Jan. 22 -- The Annual Rose and Gladiolus Show will be organised at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Botanical Research Institute (CSIR-NBRI) on January 24 and January 25.
The entry fee for the event will be Rs 10, while the exhibition fee is Rs 5 per head and it will continue from 2 pm -5.30pm on Saturday and 10am - 5.30pm on Sunday, said Rajat Raj Rastogi, spokesperson, CSIR-NBRI.
He also said that interested participants are required to fill the entry form and submit their potted plants latest by 4 pm on Friday, while those interested in submitting their entries for flower arrangement and photography are required to submit their entries by 9 am on Saturday.
"This year, the show has been divided into two broad categories - Roses and Gladiolus. Under Roses - the competition is open for individuals and for institutions," said Rastogi.
