Trump considers firing US attorney general
washington, April 3 -- US President Donald Trump has discussed firing Attorney General Pam Bondi in recent days as he grows frustrated with her leadership at the justice department and her handling of the Epstein files, the New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
Trump has floated the idea of replacing Bondi with Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, the report said.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Last month, Congressional Democrats walked out of a briefing with US Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche that was intended to cover the justice department's handling of files related to sex trafficking investigations of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein....
