PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 31 -- A shocking incident of a teacher being allegedly assaulted inside a classroom in the presence of students has come to light from Parvati Global Science School in the Delhupur police station area of Pratapgarh district. Police have arrested one of the accused and launched legal action in the case. The victim has been identified as Palak Mishra (20), a resident of Baburha village under the Mandhata police station area of Pratapgarh. According to police and family members, the dispute is believed to have stemmed from an incident about a week earlier when Palak allegedly reprimanded a student, Trivik Mishra, for killing a rabbit. The action reportedly angered the student's family. According to a complaint lodged by Palak's father, Sanjay Mishra, the incident occurred on August 27, 2026, at around 10:30 am when the accused Saumya Mishra and Abhishek Mishra allegedly entered the school premises and confronted the teacher in her classroom.
