Subhash Bazar shop tragedy: Missing woman yet to be traced
Agra, July 10 -- The 58-year-old woman who went missing after a shop collapsed due to continuous rains in Agra city on Wednesday, was yet to be traced on Thursday. The teams of SDRF, PAC, Nagar Nigam and Fire services were on the task but there was no trace of the woman despite de-silting of the drain on Thursday.
Deputy commissioner of police (DCP), Agra city, Syed Ali Abbas, said on Thursday evening that efforts made to trace the missing 58-year-old woman were yet to yield any result.
"The teams of SDRF and PAC assisted by the fire safety department are still on the task and the search continues," Abbas said.
The shop which collapsed was built on a drain.
The shopkeeper, his grandson, a staff member beside customers, including Anita, the UP Police cop posted in Lucknow, her mother Ganga Devi (58) and her daughter Ananya were in the shop which collapsed suddenly on Wednesday.
Five of these present in this saree shop were rescued but Ganga Devi (58) went missing and is yet to be traced. htc...
