STF arrests two wanted in Thane attempted murder case
Lucknow, July 31 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), in a joint operation with Maharashtra Police, arrested two men wanted in an attempted murder case registered in Thane district. The accused, Sujeet Pandey of Deoria and Manoj Thathera of Azamgarh, were arrested from Ballia and Azamgarh respectively.
According to STF, the attack was linked to a financial dispute involving businessman Mohan Parmar. Police alleged that a company partner, Sagar Bhanosali, along with chartered accountant Vijay Vishwakarma, conspired to eliminate Parmar over unpaid dues. Manoj allegedly introduced Sujeet, who was promised Rs 10 lakh and a monthly payment of Rs 1 lakh to carry out the killing.
On July 24, Sujeet allegedly shot Parmar outside his office in Vasai East. The injured businessman is undergoing treatment. The accused were later traced to eastern Uttar Pradesh. htc...
