State museum gets new audi, website
Lucknow, Aug. 28 -- The State Museum housed in the Lucknow Zoo received a new auditorium which was inaugurated by minister of culture and tourism Jaiveer Singh on Wednesday. The auditorium has been constructed at a cost of Rs 172.17 lakh.
Also, a 360-degree virtual tour and updated websites of the State Museum, Lucknow and State Museum, Mathura were released on the occasion.
Speaking about the need for digitisation, Singh said that through it, researchers will get information about their Indian culture from home. "By 2047, on completion of 100 years of independence, India has envisioned becoming a developed nation so it is important to preserve our heritage using the latest technology and pass it on to the future generation," said Singh. htc...
