LUCKNOW, Aug. 1 -- Major Dhyan Chand Sports University, Meerut, has extended the application deadline for admission to its PG diploma programmes for the 2026-27 session from July 31 to August 11. Admissions are open for the PG diploma in sports coaching in disciplines, including kabaddi, hockey, boxing, yoga, wrestling, badminton and athletics, besides the PG diploma in sports journalism and mass communication course. Candidates can submit applications through both online and offline modes. The university has uploaded the revised eligibility criteria and admission guidelines on its official website. Vice-chancellor Maj Gen Deep Ahlawat urged aspirants to complete the application process well before the deadline.
